Tobie R. Sanders Obituary (1947 - 2015)

Tobie R. Sanders, age 68, devoted wife, mother, sister, gram and friend, passed away on July 24, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Bertha Sigall. She is survived by her husband, Robert Sanders; son, Josh (Aimee) Sanders; daughters, Dana Sanders and Megan (Kevin) Ellis; brothers, Leonard Sigall and Herschel (Faye) Sigall; grandchildren, Abby and Evie Sanders and Baylor and Nola Ellis. Tobie earned her bachelors, masters and PhD from The Ohio State University. She touched the lives of countless students from her life long career teaching at the elementary and collegiate levels. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, July 26 at TEMPLE ISRAEL, 5419 E. Broad St. with Rabbi Misha Zinkow officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Temple Israel section. Shiva will be observed at the Sanders residence immediately following the interment until 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Tobie Sanders to Capital University or a charity of donor’s choice.
