Sydney H. Levine, of Columbus. Survived by wife, Nancy; daughter, Susan
Levine; sons, Michael (Karin, of Blessed Memory) and Richard (Dana) Levine; brother, George (Renee`) Levine; sister-in-law, Annette Levine; grandchildren, Arielle, Talia, and
Roni Levine. Syd will also be missed by his many in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by parents, Rae and Irving Levine, brother Earl Levine, and daughter- in-law, Karin Levine. Syd was a unique person; an intellectual, a businessman and most important, a husband and father, for whom no was never the answer. Syd was passionate about sports and politics, and was proud of his liberal identity. Most of all, Syd cherished his family.
Funeral service 2 PM Monday, January 8, 2007 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St., with Rabbis Misha Zinkow and Cary Kozberg officiating.
Burial to follow at New Temple Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at
the Levine residence. Memorial contributions preferred to Wexner Heritage Village, Zusman Community Hospice, or Alzheimer''s Association of Central Ohio.
