Saul "Shike" Izeman Obituary (1930 - 2016)

Saul “Shike” Izeman, age 86 passed away on October 16, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Rachel Izeman; sisters, Eva Goldston and Sonia Hoffman; brothers, Harry Iezman and Ben Izeman. He is survived by his wife, Roberta “Bobbie” Izeman; daughters, Mindy (Jeff) Klein and Stacey (Dan) Gotskind; son, Bradley (Lori) Izeman; grandchildren, Jonathan, Michael and Rachel Klein, Zachary and Matthew Izeman, David and Evan Gold, Samantha and Courtney Gotskind; many nieces and nephews. Shike was a retired CPA, former member of the Singing Buckeyes and really enjoyed his Thursday night Karaoke group. His greatest pleasure in life was his children and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Wednesday, October 19 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Izeman residence on Wednesday from 5-8pm, Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9pm and Friday from 2-4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Congregation Tifereth Israel.
