Richard Miller

Richard Miller (z”l), age 88, passed away on July 23, 2020. Preceded in death by his son, Steve Miller; parents, George and Dora Miller, brothers, Norman and Melvin Miller. He is survived by his daughters, Rachel (Jeremy) Cohen, Marilyn (Steve) Howlett and Rebecca Miller; and brothers Leonard and Marvin Miller. Richard "Poppy" is lovingly remembered as a fun loving and musically inspiring grandfather to five grandchildren, Layla, Jada, Ma’ayan, Matias and Benji. Richard was a highly decorated United States Marine Combat Veteran surviving the battle of the 1950 Chosin Frozen, in North Korea. Richard is remembered and honored at a private interment at Dayton National Military Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital, as Richard was a lifelong donor.
