Pauline H. Siegel Obituary (1959 - 2017)

Pauline H. Siegel, age 57, passed away on August 15, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Sanford “Sandy” Siegel; sons, Aaron (Hanni) Siegel and David (Kathryn) Siegel; parents, George and Pauline Habib; brother, George (Teresa) Habib; sisters, Julie (John) Vansickle and Tiffany Habib; grandchildren, Maceo, Van, Rhys, Leo and Stella and nephews and nieces, Justin (Aimee) Vansickle, James (Mallory) Vansickle, Kimberly (Chris) Irvin and Alexandra Habib and Nicole Habib. Pauline was diagnosed with transverse myelitis in 1994 and shortly thereafter helped to found The Transverse Myelitis Association. Pauline remained an inspiration for the TMA community for 23 years. Pauline was an elementary school teacher in the Worthington School District for 25 years. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, August 21 at Congregation Beth Tikvah, 6121 Olentangy River Road, Worthington. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery – Beth Tikvah section. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to The Transverse Myelitis Association, 1787 Sutter Parkway, Powell Ohio 43065 or through the TMA web site at www.myelitis.org.
