Mildred R. Topolosky Obituary (1920 - 2012)

Mildred R. Topolosky, age 91, passed away on September 2, 2012. Preceded in death by her parents, Morris and Celia Rubin; husband of 63 years, Harry Topolosky and brothers, Marvin Rubin and Alfred Rubin. She is survived by her son, Dr. Maury K. (Janis) Topolosky; daughter, Phyllis (Jeff) Solove; grandchildren, Sara Harkins, Jennifer R. Topolosky, Jason B. Solove, Rachel (Billy) Murray and Jonathan Solove and fiance, Erica Ermann; great grandchildren, Alexandria, Zoey and Olivia Solove, Sammy and Casey Murray and Jacob and Shira Harkins; sisters-in-law, Lucille Rubin and Lillian Rubin and many nieces and nephews. Mildred was a member of the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary and Agudas Achim sisterhood. She worked as Secretary to the Director of International Commerce for the State of Ohio. Mildred was an avid Mahjong player and loved scrabble, crossword puzzles and reading. She will be remembered for having the best tollhouse cookie recipe in the whole world. Graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, September 3rd at NEW AGUDAS ACHIM CEMETERY, 2565 Performance Pkwy. with Rabbi Cary Kozberg officiating. Shiva will be observed on Monday immediately following the service at Wexner Heritage House and Tuesday - Thursday at the home of Phyllis and Jeff Solove. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Wexner Heritage Village or Zusman Hospice.
