Lowell C. Meckler Obituary (1934

Lowell C. Meckler, M.D., 74, of Columbus, passed away July 12, 2008. Survived by wife, Marcia, sons David and Michael of Columbus, son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Carolyn, of Manhattan, and grandchildren, Rebecca and Frederick. “Corky” was a physician for over four decades in Bexley and was an alumnus of the University of Toledo as well as The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his residency at Mt. Carmel and was an active staff member at Grant Hospital. He also served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy. An avid traveler, fisherman and golfer, he was a member of Royal Dornoch Golf Club in Dornoch, Scotland. Funeral service 2:30 PM, Sunday, July 13th, 2008 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 East Main St., with Rabbi Misha Zinkow officiating. Burial to follow at the New Temple Israel Cemetery. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
