Lois W. Rubin Obituary (1932 - 2023)

Lois Rubin, age 90, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2023 surrounded by her family. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Jack H. Rubin, mother Lucy Wolff, and son Kerry Rubin. Lois is survived by her children Eric (Gail) Rubin and Scott (Andi) Rubin. Her loving grandchildren Cole, Claudia, Randy, and Mitchell (Hadley) Rubin, Jordan (Rachel) Rubin, Lisa (Zachary) Richardson, Zachary (Jenifer) Rubin, Jenny (Evan) Price and Allisa Rubin. Lois was always an exceptional grandmother, who found her new title as great-grandmother to be the ultimate achievement and is survived by; Maisy and Evie Rubin, Cooper and Emet Rubin, Frankie, Rosie, and Goldie Rubin. Lois spent the majority of her career with the American Red Cross and as her grandchildren remember vividly, was the director of “Safety City” in Columbus. Her love and commitment to family was unrivaled and will be deeply missed. Lois is now at peace with her husband Jack and son Kerry whom she deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, December 17 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E Main Street, Columbus. Interment will follow at New Beth Jacob Cemetery. Shiva will be observed Sunday thru Wednesday from 5 to 8pm at the home of Eric and Gail Rubin.
