Lana Bernstein Covel Obituary (1951 - 2017)

Lana Bernstein Covel, age 65, passed away on October 6, 2017. Preceded in death by her parents, David and Florence Bernstein. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gary Covel; sons, David Keesey and fiancé, Sarit Rus and Dan Keesey; sister, Barbara (Les) Share; brother, Scott Mandel; grandson, Bryson Keesey; niece, Amy Share; nephew, Bryan Share. Lana was a certified chef and member of the American Culinary Federation. She was a past President of Congregation Ahavas Sholom sisterhood. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday, October 8 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at New Agudas Achim Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to a charity of donor’s choice.
