Irvin Flox, age 84 of Columbus,Ohio, passed away on November 16, 2012. Preceded in death by daughter-in-law, Cari Flox, Sisters-in law, Henrietta Flox, Sandra G. Hirsch, brothers-in law , Charles Young, Michael Greenberg, David Brodsky. Survived by wife, Barbara; Sons, Martin Flox ,University Heights,Ohio , Brian (Janet) Flox, Canal Winchester, brother, Harold Flox and Sister Blanche Young of Columbus. Grandsons, Benjamin and Solomon Flox. Irvin Flox was a member of Beth Jacob Synagogue and lifetime board member and a US Army veteran. Graveside service1:00pm on Sunday, November 18th at NEW BETH JACOB CEMTERY, 2565 Performance Pkwy with Rabbi Avi Goldstein and Cantor Jeffrey Siegel officiating. Shiva will be observed Sunday, Monday-Thursday Noon til 9:00pm and Friday morning at the family residence. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Beth Jacob Synagogue, Columbus Torah Academy or Senior Independence Hospice.
