Howard “Howie” Jay Rosenberg passed away on October 24, 2026, one day before his 76th birthday.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Martha Rosenberg. He is survived by his wife, Laura Rosenberg; his daughter, Madeline “Maddy” Rosenberg; his sisters, Alice Moss and Elaine (Ira) Wolf; his brother, Bill Rosenberg; his nephews, Adam (Sumana) Wolf and Jay Moss (Elizabeth Harding); his nieces, Judith Wolf (Justin David) and Ali Moss (Jon Bardin); and many cousins and friends.

A private graveside ceremony will be held on Friday.

Howie once said, only half jokingly, that when he died, he wanted people to be really sad and mourn him. Please join us to do just that on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at New Albany Country Club, 1 Club Lane, New Albany. Brief eulogies will begin at 1:45 p.m.
