Howard M. Harris Obituary (1930 - 2007)

Howard Michael Harris, 77, passed away Nov. 16, 2007 in Chandler, AZ. Formerly of Cleveland and Columbus, he started in business with his father’s company, US Shop Towel. He was a very successful salesman for more than 41 years; over 20 years with Belwith International. Preceded in death by mother and father, Dorothy and Edward, and grandson, Joseph Steven Zeidman. Survived by his wife of 55 years, Shirley; loving father of daughters, Diane (Hal) Zeidman, and Debbie (Ernie) Engle; cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Joshua, and Jeffrey Zeidman; sister, Elizabeth Ann; nieces, nephews, and many friends. Charter Member and Past President of B’nai Brith Maccabee Lodge #2848; proud member of Jewish War Veterans, Post # 122, Temple Israel in Columbus, and Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation in Sun Lakes, AZ. Active volunteer at Mt. Carmel East Hospital and Temple Israel. Funeral service 3 PM Monday, November 19, 2007 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main Street, with Rabbi Emily Rosenzweig officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Temple Israel section. Shiva will be observed Monday evening at Hilton Columbus at Easton, 3900 Chagrin Dr. Memorial contributions preferred to Anti- Defamation League of B’nai Brith or Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
