Harriet Lee Orren Obituary (1930 - 2022)

Harriet Orren, age 92, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her dear husband Bud Orren; parents Harriet Fitkin and Glenn Fitkin, and brother Harold Fitkin. She is survived by her brother Glenn Fitkin, Jr., her daughters Sarah Webb, Judy (Ralph) Blakeney, and Carol (Bill) Mohr; grandchildren Hank Blakeney, Maya Blakeney, Maggie (Mark) Wells and Nick (Jeannie) Limohr, and great-grandchildren Kaiden, David, Gabriel, and Catherine. Harriet was born in Toledo and studied at the Museum of Fine Arts School in Boston. She returned to Toledo to marry John Webb and together they had three daughters. After their divorce, Harriet moved with their daughters to Los Angeles in 1973, where she earned her BFA and her MFA in sculpture at CalArts. After retiring, she moved to Palm Desert, CA, where she was a member of Temple Sinai for 20 years, before moving to Columbus in 2021 to be near her family. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, November 7 at Congregation Beth Tikvah, 6121 Olentangy River Road, Worthington. Email zoom1@epsteinmemorial.com for zoom link.
