Gustavo J. Fischman Obituary (1972 - 2014)

Gustavo J. Fischman, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2014. Preceded in death by his grandparents, Isaac and Esther Kans and Jose and Aida Fischman. He is survived by his parents, Alberto and Elsa Fischman; sister and brother-in-law, Romina and James Fischman-Smith; aunts, Lina and Alfonso Rico (their daughter Georgina), Carlota Fischman, Ana Fany Berschadsky and Zulema and Jorge Weinberg; many cousins; many friends; his extended family at Yanni's Greek Grill. Gustavo graduated from Bexley High School in 1991 and attended The Ohio State University. He worked for many years at University Plaza Hotel and Yanni's Greek Grill. Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, December 9 at NEW AGUDAS ACHIM CEMETERY, 2565 Performance Pkwy. with Cantor Baruch Shifman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Capital Area Humane Society www.cahs-pets.org. Shiva will be observed immediately following the service at the home of Alberto and Elsa Fischman.
