Fannye Nusgart Obituary (1919

Fannye Nusgart, 88, died Sunday Dec 23, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She was born May 4, 1919 in Columbus, Ohio, before moving to Baltimore MD in 1985 residing in Owings Mill, Maryland. She is survived by her daughter Marcia Nusgart of Bethesda, Maryland., son Robert (Ellen) Nusgart of Wings Mills, Maryland; grandchildren, Erica and Adam, sister, Sarah Hofberg, of New York, formerly of Bethesda, Maryland; brothers-in-law, Herman Rosen of Columbus and Al Krantz of Boca Raton, Fl., as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Nusgart, who died in 1971 in Columbus, Ohio; sisters Yetta Rosen of Columbus and Ruth Krantz of Boca Raton, FL., and brother-in-law, Abe Hofberg, of Washington, D.C. Funeral service 1 PM, Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at THE EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St., with Rabbi Michael Ungar officiating. Burial to follow at the New Ahavas Sholom Cemetery. Shiva will be observed Wednesday after the funeral until 6:30 p.m. at the Hilton at Easton. Memorial contributions preferred to the Columbus Jewish Federation of donor’s favorite charity.
