Edward E. Kaplan

Edward E. Kaplan, age 91, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2017, following a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. This spectacular man, who was loved by all, was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Julia Kaplan. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Miller Kaplan; sons, David (Lorraine) Kaplan and Philip (Janet) Kaplan; brother, Lawrence (Janice) Kaplan; grandchildren, Annalee (Cory) Stover, Rachel, Michael, Kyle, Jacob and Abigail Kaplan; and two great-grandchildren, Bennett and Kensley.
A memorial gathering will be held on December 30th at 1:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at Brookdale Trillium Crossing, 3500 Trillium Crossing, Columbus, Ohio 43235. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Parkinson’s Foundation Ohio, the Cerebral Palsy Foundation or the National Federation for the Blind (nfb.org).
