Dorothy Haas

Dorothy J. Haas, born April 12, 1921 on the family farm in Svold, North Dakota died September 22, 2010 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by her husband, Mac; parents, Halldor and Josephine Vivatson; brothers, Kristjan and Harold Vivatson and grandson, Justin Haas. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Darlene), Darryl (Polly), Larry (Leslie) and Harley (Beth); brother, William Vivatson; sister, Anna Hays; grandchildren, Rena Shuchat, Mary Mager, Colleen Duffy, Marc, Brian, Rachel, Stephanie and Daniel Haas; 2 great grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service 1PM on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Naphtali Weisz and Cantor Jeffrey Siegel officiating. Guests will be received at the home of Larry and Leslie Haas Sunday as well as Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9PM.
