Carol M. Laib Obituary (1937

Carol Laib, age 79, formerly of Dublin, OH, passed away on December 24, 2016 in Gilbert, AZ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Laib and parents, Louis and Jeanette Germaine. She is survived by her sons, Scott (Elisa) Jeffay and Keith (Christine) Jeffay; grandchildren, Eric, Alexandra, Jeremy, Melissa, Jenna and Jake. Carol was a member of Congregation Beth Tikvah. She taught in public school for 30 years in both Brooklyn, NY and Mt. Vernon, NY. She was a homebound instructor in grades kindergarten through high school before she retired in 1993. Carol taught at Sinai Temple for 20 years, she was also the principal there before retirement. In addition, she taught courses at the Y.M.W.H.A. She was a member of many organizations including AARP, Elder Hostels and the Hilliard and Dublin Senior Centers. She contributed to the pen pal program through sisterhood of Cong. Beth Tikvah. She will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren and many close friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 27 at Epstein Memorial Chapel, 3232 E. Main St. Interment will follow at Green Lawn – Beth Tikvah section.
