Carl B. Mellman Obituary (1929 - 2017)

Carl B. Mellman, age 88, passed away on June 1, 2017 in San Diego, CA. Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Clara Mellman. He is survived by his wife, Grace Mellman; son, Mark Mellman (Mindy Horowitz); daughter, Randi (Avner) Oze; numerous grandchildren and other family. Carl served as a Captain in the Airforce. He earned his bachelor degree and law degree from The Ohio State University. He practiced law and was a business owner is Columbus and San Diego. Former President of Tifereth Israel Men’s Club. Graveside services will be held at 3:30pm on Sunday, June 2nd at New Agudas Achim Cemetery, 2565 Performance Way. Shiva will be observed starting Monday at the home of Mark Mellman and Mindy Horowitz. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org
