Beryl Macy Oser Jr

Dr. Beryl Macy Oser Jr., age 75, passed away on April 28th, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Beryl and Rose Oser. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Oser; sons, Dr. Matthew (Marianela) Oser, Dr. David (Elaine Shiang) Oser; brothers, Joseph (Kimberly Austin) Oser, Michael (Nadine VanDyke) Oser; sister, Molly (Terry Janicki) Oser; grandchildren, Gabriel and Amelia Oser, Avery and Arlo Oser. Beryl graduated from Miami University and then received his medical doctorate from The Ohio State University. He and Laurie were married in 1970. He was a fantastic husband, father, brother, and medical care provider to the less fortunate, and community activist. He served the community of Reynoldsburg as a family practice physician for over 35 years. He not only saved many people’s lives but was truly a positive life force who impacted everyone that had the good fortune to know and love him. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday May 3rd at Congregation Beth Tikvah, 6121 Olentangy River Road. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave, Columbus, OH 43223. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation or The James Cancer Hospital.
