Allan Fenn Weiss Obituary (1939 - 2023)

Allan Fenn Weiss was born September 25, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Ohio University where he met and married his wife Beanie, of 64 years. After graduating from OU, Al and Beanie moved to Columbus, Ohio, where they built a life together and raised their three children: Jill, Caryn and Michael. Al worked for Western Electric/AT&T for thirty-three years. He was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan, an inaugural season ticket holder for the Blue Jackets, and loved all things golf, including playing at both Winding Hollow and New Albany Country Clubs. Al was devoted to his family, which included his son-in-law Steve and his daughter-in-law Allison, and loved being involved with the lives and numerous achievements of his grandchildren Jeffrey, Matthew (Mackenzie), Rachel, Lauren and Hayden and was blessed to spend time with his great-granddaughter Nellie. Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Monday, October 30, 2023 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens - Temple Israel Section, 5600 E Broad St, Columbus. Shiva will be at the home of Allen and Bernice from 5-7 on Monday, October 30 with service at 5:00pm.
