Allan J. Singer Obituary (1943 - 2015)

Allan J. Singer, age 71, passed away on February 1, 2015. Beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather. Preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Fannie Singer and grandson, Joshua Harris Singer. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Singer; daughters, Sherri (Chuck) Simpson and Kim (Sean) Brooks; son, Steve (Wendy) Singer; brother, Larry (Carolyn) Singer; sister, Adele (Steven) Blazey; grandchildren, Donovan and Hannah Simpson, Sarah and Sofie Singer, Michael and Justin Brooks; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Allan was the Administrative Lab Director for 32 years at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was also Adjunct Professor at Columbus State Community College. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, February 4 at CONGREGATON BETH TIKVAH, 6121 Olentangy River Rd. Worthington with Rabbi Rick Kellner officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery - Beth Tikvah section. Shiva will be observed at the home of Sherri and Chuck Simpson on Wednesday and Thursday from 4-8pm with services at 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to The James Comprehensive Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
