Allan A. Conison Obituary (1928 - 2015)

Allan A. Conison, age 87, passed away on November 5, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents, Israel and Jennie Cohen; brothers, Joe and Julius Conison; sister, Eva Needleman. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Terri Conison; sons, Jay (Nancy) Conison, Marc (Karen) Conison and Dan (Amy) Conison; daughter, Cindra (Richard Sheir) Conison; grandchildren, Megan and Josh Conison, Alex (Elda) and David Conison, Michelle Conison, Brian (Kelsey) Fox and Gabe Sheir; nieces, nephews and cousins. Allan served in the Army during the Korean War. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Sunday, November 8 at EPSTEIN MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 3232 E. Main St. with Rabbi Michael Ungar officiating. Burial will follow at New Tifereth Israel Cemetery. Shiva will be observed at the home of Terri Conison on Sunday – Tuesday evenings from 5-8pm with minyan at 5pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Congregation Tifereth Israel or MidOhio Food Bank in his memory.
