Alan L. Titchell Obituary (1945 - 2011)

Alan L. Titchell, age 66, passed away peacefully at Mt. Carmel East Hospital on July 25, 2011 after a long and courageous battle. Preceded in death by parents, Robert S. and Sarah B. Titchell. He is survived by former wife and best friend for over 40 years, Lynne R. Titchell; son, Robb (Amy) Titchell; grandchildren, Katy and Ryan Titchell and his “brothers” Steve Lurie and Pat Donlon. Alan was a Hearing Officer for the Industrial Commision of the State of Ohio for 30 years, retiring in 2006. Alan was a life-long hockey fan, an avid NASCAR fan and loved anything to do with cars, as evidenced by the ever-changing “stable” in his back yard. He was a member of The Buick Club of America, The Int’l Edsel Club, The Corvair Society, The Antique Auto Club of America and The National Corvette Museum. The family would like to thank Traditions at Stygler Road, Bon-Ing Care and Rehab. Center and Mt. Carmel East’s Palliative Care Unit.
