Alan M. Lee Obituary (1924 - 2011)

Alan M. Lee, 87, of Columbus, OH passed away on Friday 11/11/11. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Lee; sons, Ken (Lillian) and Brian (Jennifer); grandsons, Daniel, Jackson & Thomas Lee; sister, Ruth Kurtz and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Lillian Levey; son, Douglas Lee and sister, Norma Firkser. Alan was a Veteran of World War II and seems fitting that he passed away on Veteran’s Day. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather and brother. A memorial service will be held at 1:30pm on Sunday, November 13th at Temple Israel, 5419 E. Broad St. with Rabbi Misha Zinkow officiating. Shiva will be observed at the home of Carol and Alan Lee Sunday through Tuesday evenings. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in his memory
